The Chelsea 288GMFJP-M3AC or 288GMFJPM3AC is a 10-bolt, constant mesh power take-off built on Chelsea's heavy-duty 288 Series platform. It delivers a single continuous duty torque rating of up to 390 lb-ft, with wider gears and larger-capacity bearings than its predecessor, the 287 Series. The cast iron housing pairs with ductile iron bearing caps rated 117% stronger than gray iron. An O-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap reduces vibrational effects and improves clamp load. The standard output features a round shaft with a 1-1/4" key and a positive-stop design that eliminates oil seal damage from shaft couplings. Nine speed ratios cover low and high ranges.
