The Chelsea 272 Series Power Take-Off, part number 272MDAJP-B5RF or 272MDAJPB5RF, is a 6-bolt hot-shift PTO built for medium-duty applications across towing and recovery, aerial, construction, and water truck markets. It uses a pneumatic or PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic) shift mechanism and mounts with a 6-bolt pattern to transmissions from Allison, Eaton/Fuller, Ford, Aisin, Volvo/Mack, and RAM. The output shaft is a 1-1/4" round with a 5/16" key. The 272 Series is rated for continuous torque up to 300 lb-ft (407 Nm) and intermittent torque in the 201-300 lb-ft (401-500 Nm) range.
