The Chelsea 272 Series Power Take-Off, part number 272MDAJP-G5XD or 272MDAJPG5XD, is a 6-bolt hot shift PTO engineered for medium-duty applications including towing and recovery, aerial work, construction equipment, and water trucks. It mounts to transmissions from Allison, Eaton/Fuller, Ford, Aisin, Volvo/Mack, and RAM. The output shaft is a 1-1/4" round shaft with a 5/16" key. Shift is pneumatic or PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic), with an integral air control valve included. The 272 Series carries a continuous torque rating up to 300 lb-ft (407 Nm) and intermittent torque in the 201-300 lb-ft (401-500 Nm) range. Shaft power output reaches 57 HP at 1,000 RPM.
