The Chelsea 272 Series consolidates multiple earlier medium-duty hot shift PTO lines, including the 230, 231, 236, 238, 270, and 271 series, into a single platform. The series offers nine speed ratios and eighteen shift options. The direct-mount outputs include an optional wet-spline design for extended PTO and pump shaft service life. Driveshaft output configurations are available with Smart-Start for high-torque start-up conditions. The integral air control valve is built in.
