The Chelsea 272XKESX-15XD or 272XKESX15XD is a 6-bolt hot shift power take-off from the Chelsea 272 Series, designed for medium-duty applications including towing and recovery, aerial, construction equipment, and water trucks. It mounts to transmissions from Allison, Eaton/Fuller, Ford, Aisin, Volvo/Mack, and RAM, among others. The output is a 1-1/4" round shaft with a 5/16" key. Shift is pneumatic (PowerShift), and the unit includes an integral air control valve with rotatable flanges for flexible installation. Continuous torque capability reaches 300 lb-ft; intermittent torque is rated at 201-300 lb-ft (401-500 Nm). At 1,000 RPM, shaft power is rated at 57 HP. Available from Pro Gear and Transmission.
