The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489DFMCX-56XQ or 489DFMCX56XQ, is a mechanical-shift PTO built for 8-bolt manual transmission openings including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec applications. The integral 8-bolt cast iron housing bolts directly to the transmission without an adapter plate, eliminating that extra potential leak path. Output is through a 1-1/4" round keyed shaft. The 489 Series uses tapered bearings rather than needle bearings for improved load capacity, and internal parts are common to the Chelsea 442 Series. Shift is via wire or cable mechanical actuation.
