The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489GLAHX-V3GH or 489GLAHXV3GH, is a wire/cable mechanical shift PTO built for 8-bolt manual transmission openings. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the transmission without an adapter plate, which removes a potential leak path compared to two-piece designs. The 489 Series carries the same 250 lb-ft torque capacity as the Chelsea 442 Series and uses tapered bearings rather than needle bearings for greater load-bearing capability. The output shaft is a 1-1/4" round keyed shaft. Intermittent torque rating for the 489 Series runs 201 to 300 lb-ft (301 to 400 Nm).
