The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489GLAHX-V5AZ or 489GLAHXV5AZ, is a one-piece cast iron PTO designed for 8-bolt manual transmission openings. It fits most manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec. The integral 8-bolt housing eliminates the need for an adapter plate, reducing potential leak paths. Shift is wire/cable mechanical. Output is via a 1-1/4" round keyed shaft. The 489 Series shares internal parts with the Chelsea 442 Series and uses tapered bearings rather than needle bearings for greater load-bearing capability.
