The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489XCAHX-A3RK or 489XCAHXA3RK, is an air shift PTO built for manual transmissions with an 8-bolt mounting aperture, including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec gearboxes. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the transmission opening, eliminating the adapter plate that a conventional setup requires and reducing potential leak paths in the process. Output is delivered through a rotatable SAE B 2 or 4-bolt flange with a 7/8" 13-tooth SAE B shaft. The 489 Series carries the same 250 lb-ft torque capacity as the Chelsea 442 Series, and uses tapered bearings rather than needle bearings for greater load-carrying capability.
