The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489XCAHX-S5XQ or 489XCAHXS5XQ, is an air-shift PTO designed for manual transmissions with an 8-bolt mounting aperture, including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec gearboxes. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the 8-bolt transmission opening, eliminating the adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. The 489 Series delivers intermittent torque in the 201-300 lb-ft range and shaft power of 24 HP at 500 RPM or 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. Output is via an SAE B 2 or 4-bolt flange with a 7/8" 13-tooth SAE B shaft. Tapered bearings replace needle bearings for greater load-bearing capability.
