The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489XFAHX-H5AF or 489XFAHXH5AF, is a mechanical shift PTO designed for manual transmissions with an 8-bolt mounting aperture, including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec gearboxes. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the transmission opening, eliminating the adapter plate that would otherwise create an additional leak path. The 489 Series shares internal parts with the Chelsea 442 Series and uses tapered bearings in place of needle bearings for greater load capacity. Output is a 1-1/4-inch round shaft with key.
