The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489XFAHX-P3XY or 489XFAHXP3XY, is an 8-bolt mechanical shift PTO designed to mount directly to most manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Eaton Endurant, Mack, and Tremec. The integral one-piece cast iron housing bolts to the 8-bolt transmission opening without an adapter plate, reducing potential leak paths and cutting installation time. The series carries an intermittent torque rating of 201-300 lb-ft and delivers up to 48 HP at 1,000 RPM through a 1-1/4" round keyed output shaft. Tapered bearings replace needle bearings for improved load-carrying capacity. Shift type is wire/cable mechanical.
