The Chelsea 489XFITX-V3AF or 489XFITXV3AF is a power take-off unit from the 489 Series, designed for 8-bolt manual transmission openings found on Eaton Fuller, Mack, Tremec, and Eaton Endurant gearboxes. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the 8-bolt aperture, eliminating the adapter plate that other designs require and reducing potential leak paths. The 489 Series carries an intermittent torque rating of 201-300 lb-ft and wire/cable mechanical shift. Output is a 1-1/4 in. round keyed shaft. Tapered bearings replace needle bearings for improved load capacity.
