The Chelsea 489XLAHX-H3AZ or 489XLAHXH3AZ is a 489 Series Power Take-Off designed for 8-bolt manual transmission openings. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the transmission, eliminating the need for an adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. The 489 Series delivers intermittent torque in the 201-300 lb-ft range and shaft power of 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. No shift assembly (ordered without a shifter). Tapered bearings replace needle bearings for greater load-bearing capability. The series is compatible with Eaton Fuller, Eaton Endurant, Mack, and Tremec manual transmissions.
