The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489XLAHX-P5XD or 489XLAHXP5XD, is a 12V electric/air shift PTO designed for 8-bolt manual transmission openings. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the transmission without an adapter plate, eliminating a common leak path. Internal components are shared with the Chelsea 442 Series, giving the 489 the same 250 lb-ft torque capacity with strong tapered bearings in place of needle bearings for greater load-bearing capability. Output is via a 1-1/4" round keyed shaft. Intermittent torque rating for the 489 Series runs 201-300 lb-ft.
