The Chelsea 489XLAHX-V6XK or 489XLAHXV6XK is an 8-bolt power take-off from Chelsea's 489 Series, designed for most manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec. The integral 8-bolt cast iron housing bolts directly to the transmission opening without an adapter plate, eliminating that potential leak path. This PTO uses a wire/cable mechanical shift and delivers output shaft power rated at 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM via a 1-1/4" round keyed output shaft. Intermittent torque capacity for the 489 Series runs 201 to 300 lb-ft. Strong tapered bearings replace needle bearings for greater load-bearing capability.
