The Chelsea 489XRDAX-A5GF or 489XRDAXA5GF is a 489 Series Power Take-Off built for 8-bolt manual transmission openings, including Eaton Fuller, Eaton Endurant, Mack, and Tremec gearboxes. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the transmission without an adapter plate, eliminating that potential leak path. This unit delivers intermittent torque in the 201-300 lb-ft range and uses a wire/cable mechanical shift. Output is through a 1-1/4" round keyed shaft. Tapered bearings replace needle bearings for increased load capacity. Common applications include utility trucks, dump trucks, and snow and ice removal equipment.
