The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the transmission opening without an adapter plate, removing a potential leak path. The 489 Series delivers an intermittent torque rating of 201-300 lb-ft and uses a wire/cable mechanical shift. The output shaft is a 1-1/4" round keyed shaft.
