The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489XRAHX-V3XR or 489XRAHXV3XR, is an 8-bolt PTO designed for most manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the 8-bolt transmission opening, eliminating the need for an adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. The 489 Series delivers intermittent torque in the 201-300 lb-ft range and shaft power of 24 HP at 500 RPM or 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. Strong tapered bearings replace needle bearings for greater load-bearing capability. Shift type is wire/cable mechanical.
