The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489XLAHX-P5XK or 489XLAHXP5XK, is a mechanical shift PTO designed for manual transmissions with an 8-bolt mounting aperture, including Eaton Fuller, Eaton Endurant, Mack, and Tremec gearboxes. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the transmission opening without an adapter plate, eliminating a potential leak path. Output is through a 1-1/4" round shaft with key. The 489 Series carries an intermittent torque rating of 201-300 lb-ft and delivers up to 48 HP at 1,000 RPM shaft power. Tapered bearings replace needle bearings for greater load capacity.
