The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489ZQDAX-V5XY or 489ZQDAXV5XY, is an 8-bolt PTO designed for most manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec. The integral one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the 8-bolt transmission opening, eliminating the need for an adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. This unit features a wire/cable mechanical shift and a 1-1/4" round keyed output shaft. The 489 Series uses tapered bearings in place of needle bearings for greater load-bearing capability.
