The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489XRDAX-V3XD or 489XRDAXV3XD, is an 8-bolt mechanical shift PTO engineered for most manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Eaton Endurant, Mack, and Tremec. The integral one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the 8-bolt transmission opening, eliminating the adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths compared to multi-piece housings. Tapered bearings replace needle bearings for greater load-bearing capability. The 489 Series delivers intermittent torque in the 201-300 lb-ft range and shaft power of 24 HP at 500 RPM or 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. Output shaft is a 1-1/4 inch round shaft with key.
