The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489XREVX-A3XD or 489XREVXA3XD, is a mechanical-shift PTO designed for 8-bolt manual transmission openings including Eaton Fuller, Eaton Endurant, Mack, and Tremec. The integral one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the transmission without an adapter plate, eliminating a potential leak path. The 489 Series delivers an intermittent torque rating of 201-300 lb-ft and features tapered bearings rather than needle bearings for increased load capacity. Output is via a 1-1/4-inch round keyed shaft, and shift is via wire/cable mechanical actuation. Internal parts are common to the Chelsea 442 Series.
