The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489XSAHX-W6RK or 489XSAHXW6RK, is a mechanical-shift PTO designed for manual transmissions with an 8-bolt mounting aperture, including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec gearboxes. The integral one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the 8-bolt transmission opening, eliminating the need for an adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. The 489 Series carries the same 250 lb-ft torque capacity as the Chelsea 442 Series, and uses tapered bearings rather than needle bearings for increased load-bearing capability. Output is delivered through a 1-1/4" round shaft with key. This series offers a wire/cable mechanical shift mechanism and intermittent torque ratings of 201-300 lb-ft.
