The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489XSITX-A5AF or 489XSITXA5AF, is an 8-bolt mechanical shift PTO built for most manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Eaton Endurant, Mack, and Tremec. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the 8-bolt transmission opening without an adapter plate, reducing both installation time and potential leak paths. The 489 Series delivers intermittent torque from 201 to 300 lb-ft and output power of 46 to 55 HP, backed by strong tapered bearings rather than needle bearings for greater load-carrying capability.
