The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off 489XUAHX-A5XQ or 489XUAHXA5XQ mounts directly to 8-bolt manual transmission openings, including Eaton Fuller, Eaton Endurant, Mack, and Tremec gearboxes. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the transmission without an adapter plate, reducing potential leak paths and cutting installation time. The 489 Series delivers intermittent torque in the 201-300 lb-ft range and shaft output of 24 HP at 500 RPM or 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. Tapered bearings replace needle bearings for greater load-bearing capability. Internal parts are common to the Chelsea 442 Series. Shift type is air shift.
