The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off 489XUAHX-P3XD or 489XUAHXP3XD is a wire/cable mechanical-shift PTO built for the 8-bolt transmission opening found on most manual transmissions, including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the 8-bolt aperture, eliminating the adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. Intermittent torque capacity for the 489 Series runs 201-300 lb-ft (301-400 Nm), and series output shaft is a 1-1/4" round shaft with keyway. Internal parts are shared with the Chelsea 442 Series, and the 489 Series carries 11 internal speed ratios.
