The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the need for an adapter plate, reducing potential leak paths and installation time. The 489 Series delivers intermittent torque in the 201-300 lb-ft range and output power from 46 to 55 HP. Tapered bearings replace needle bearings for greater load-bearing capability.
