The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489ZFDAX-A5RA or 489ZFDAXA5RA, is a wire/cable mechanical-shift PTO built around a one-piece cast-iron 8-bolt housing that mounts directly to the transmission opening without an adapter plate, eliminating a potential leak path. Rated for 250 lb-ft intermittent torque, this unit delivers up to 48 HP at 1,000 RPM through a 1-1/4" round output shaft. Tapered bearings replace needle bearings for greater load capacity. Internal components are common to the Chelsea 442 Series, and the 489 Series supports 27 output options including greaseable shaft configurations.
