The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489ZQDAX-P5XD or 489ZQDAXP5XD, is a wire/cable mechanical shift PTO built for 8-bolt manual transmission openings. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the transmission without an adapter plate, removing a potential leak path compared to designs that require one. The 489 Series delivers intermittent torque in the 201-300 lb-ft range and shaft power of 24 HP at 500 RPM or 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. Output is through a 1-1/4" round shaft with key. Strong tapered bearings replace needle bearings for greater load capacity. Compatible transmissions include Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec 8-bolt applications.
