The Chelsea 272DCKUP-B3RE or 272DCKUPB3RE is a 272 Series hot-shift power take-off assembly with a 6-bolt mounting configuration. It features a 1-1/4" round output shaft with a 5/16" key and supports pneumatic or PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic) engagement. The 272 Series consolidates several earlier Chelsea PTO lines into one platform rated for continuous torque up to 300 lb-ft (407 Nm) and intermittent torque in the 201-300 lb-ft (401-500 Nm) range. The Chelsea 272 Series consolidates the earlier 230, 231, 236, 238, 270, and 271 PTO lines into a single medium-duty hot-shift platform. The series offers nine speed ratios and eighteen shift options, with an integral air control valve included. Driveshaft output configurations include the Smart-Start option, designed for high-torque start-up conditions.
