The Chelsea 272 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 272GAHVP-B3BD or 272GAHVPB3BD, is a 6-bolt hot-shift PTO built around Chelsea's consolidated medium-duty platform. It mounts via a 6-bolt pattern and delivers a 1-1/4" round output shaft with a 5/16" key. Shift is pneumatic or PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic), and the unit comes with an integral air control valve. Continuous torque capability reaches 300 lb-ft (407 Nm); intermittent torque is rated in the 201-300 lb-ft range. At 1,000 RPM the shaft produces 57 HP (43 kW). The 272 Series is used in aerial, construction, water truck, and towing and recovery applications across a wide range of transmissions including Allison, Eaton/Fuller, Ford, Aisin, Volvo/Mack, and RAM.
