The Chelsea 272 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 272KCHVP-B3RK or 272KCHVPB3RK, is a 6-bolt hot shift PTO designed for medium-duty truck applications across towing and recovery, aerial, construction equipment, and water truck markets. The 272 Series supports up to 300 lb-ft of intermittent torque and is available with either air (pneumatic) or hydraulic shift. It consolidates and replaces earlier Chelsea series including the 230, 231, 236, 238, 270, and 271, offering nine speed ratios and eighteen shift options in a single platform. The series includes an integral air control valve, rotatable flanges, and an optional wet-spline output for extended PTO and pump shaft service life.
