The Chelsea 272 Series consolidates and replaces the earlier 230, 231, 236, 238, 270, and 271 Series medium-duty hot shift PTOs. The series offers nine speed ratios and eighteen shift options. Direct-mount outputs include an optional Wet-Spline configuration for extended PTO and pump shaft service life. Driveshaft output configurations are available with Smart Start for high-torque start-up conditions. Rotatable flanges allow flexible installation positioning.
