The Chelsea 272KDJKX-25XD or 272KDJKX25XD is a 272 Series 6-bolt hot shift power take-off assembly. The 272 Series consolidates several earlier Chelsea medium-duty PTO lines into one platform, offering up to 300 lb-ft of intermittent torque and continuous-duty capability. The Chelsea 272 Series was designed to consolidate and replace the earlier 230, 231, 236, 238, 270, and 271 Series medium-duty hot shift PTOs. The 272 Series offers nine speed ratios and eighteen shift options, giving specifiers broad flexibility across direct-mount and driveshaft output configurations. The optional Wet-Spline technology is intended to extend service life of the PTO and pump shaft. Smart-Start is available for applications with high-torque start-up demands.
