The Chelsea 272 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 272MBAJP-B5RF or 272MBAJPB5RF, is a 6-bolt hot-shift PTO built for medium-duty truck applications. It mounts to transmissions from Allison, Eaton/Fuller, Ford, Aisin, Volvo/Mack, and RAM platforms. The 1-1/4" round output shaft with a 5/16" key drives hydraulic pumps and auxiliary equipment in towing and recovery, aerial, construction, and water truck service. Shift is pneumatic or PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic), with an integral air control valve included. The 272 Series is rated for continuous torque up to 300 lb-ft (407 Nm) and intermittent torque in the 201-300 lb-ft (401-500 Nm) range.
