The Chelsea 272 Series consolidates several earlier medium-duty hot-shift PTO lines - including the 230, 231, 236, 238, 270, and 271 series - into a single, more versatile platform. The series offers nine speed ratios and eighteen shift configurations. Direct-mount outputs are available with optional Wet-Spline technology for extended PTO and pump shaft service life. Driveshaft output configurations include the Smart Start option, designed for high-torque start-up conditions. The integral air control valve is built in.
