The Chelsea 272NDHVP-15XD or 272NDHVP15XD is a 272 Series 6-bolt hot shift power take-off assembly. The 272 Series consolidates the earlier 230, 231, 236, 238, 270, and 271 Series into a single medium-duty PTO platform rated for intermittent torque of 201 to 300 lb-ft (401 to 500 Nm). Output power reaches 56+ HP (41 to 50 kW). The series supports both pneumatic and hydraulic shift options and comes with an integral air control valve. Rotatable flanges and a Wet-Spline option help extend PTO and pump shaft service life. Smart-Start accommodates high-torque start-up conditions common in towing and recovery, aerial, construction, and water truck applications.
