The Chelsea 272 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 272NDHVP-B5BV or 272NDHVPB5BV, is a 6-bolt hot shift PTO with pneumatic or PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic) engagement. The 272 Series consolidates several earlier Chelsea medium-duty PTO lines into a single platform with nine speed ratios and 18 shift options. This unit delivers a continuous torque rating up to 300 lb-ft (407 Nm) and an intermittent rating of 201-300 lb-ft (401-500 Nm). Output is via a 1-1/4" round shaft with a 5/16" key. Shaft power is rated at 29 HP at 500 RPM and 57 HP at 1,000 RPM. The series is designed for aerial, construction, towing and recovery, and water truck applications, and is compatible with Allison, Eaton/Fuller, Ford, Aisin, Volvo/Mack, and RAM transmissions.
