The Chelsea 272 Series consolidates and replaces the earlier 230, 231, 236, 238, 270, and 271 Series medium-duty hot-shift PTOs into a single platform. The series offers nine speed ratios, eighteen shift options, and a range of direct-mount and driveshaft output configurations. Direct-mount outputs are available with an optional Wet-Spline feature for extended PTO and pump shaft service life. Driveshaft output configurations can include the Smart-Start option, designed for high-torque startup conditions. Rotatable flanges allow flexible installation orientation.
