The Chelsea 272 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 272XAAJP-G3RK or 272XAAJPG3RK, is a 6-bolt hot shift PTO built for medium-duty applications across towing and recovery, aerial, construction, and water truck markets. It mounts to transmissions from Allison, Eaton/Fuller, Ford, Aisin, Volvo/Mack, RAM, and other manufacturers. The output shaft is a 1-1/4" round with a 5/16" key. Shift is pneumatic or PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic), and the unit includes an integral air control valve. The 272 Series carries a continuous torque rating up to 300 lb-ft (407 Nm) and an intermittent torque rating of 201-300 lb-ft (401-500 Nm). Shaft power at 1,000 RPM reaches 57 HP (43 kW).
