The Chelsea 272 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 272XAAJX-P3BD or 272XAAJXP3BD, is a 6-bolt hot shift PTO with pneumatic or PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic) actuation. It mounts to transmissions from Allison, Eaton/Fuller, Ford, Aisin, Volvo/Mack, and RAM, among others. The 1-1/4" round output shaft uses a 5/16" keyway. The 272 Series is rated for continuous torque up to 300 lb-ft (407 Nm) and intermittent torque in the 201-300 lb-ft (401-500 Nm) range, with shaft output reaching 57 HP at 1,000 RPM. The series consolidates earlier Chelsea 230, 231, 236, 238, 270, and 271 designs into a single platform used in aerial, construction, towing and recovery, and water truck applications.
