The Chelsea 272 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 272XCAJP-G3XD or 272XCAJPG3XD, is a 6-bolt hot shift PTO with pneumatic or PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic) engagement. It delivers intermittent torque in the 201-300 lb-ft range and a continuous torque rating up to 300 lb-ft, with shaft power of 29 HP at 500 RPM and 57 HP at 1,000 RPM. The output shaft is a 1-1/4" round with a 5/16" keyway. Compatible transmission families include Allison, Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, Ford, Aisin, and RAM. The 272 Series consolidates several prior Chelsea medium-duty PTO lines into a single platform used in aerial, construction, towing and recovery, and water truck applications.
