The Chelsea 272 Series consolidates and replaces the earlier 230, 231, 236, 238, 270, and 271 Series medium-duty hot-shift PTOs into a single, unified platform. The series offers nine speed ratios and eighteen shift options, with rotatable flanges to ease installation. Direct-mount output configurations are available with an optional Wet-Spline design for extended PTO and pump shaft service life. Driveshaft output configurations can include the Smart-Start feature, designed for high-torque start-up conditions where load is already present at engagement.
