The Chelsea 272 Series power take-off assembly, part number 272XDAJP-D3XR or 272XDAJPD3XR, is a 6-bolt hot shift PTO built for medium-duty applications in aerial, construction, towing and recovery, and water truck service. The 272 Series supports intermittent torque ratings from 201 to 300 lb-ft and continuous output exceeding 56 HP. Shift options include pneumatic (air) and hydraulic, with an integral air control valve included. The series consolidates the former 230, 231, 236, 238, 270, and 271 Chelsea lines into one platform offering nine speed ratios and eighteen shift configurations.
