The Chelsea 272 Series PTO Assembly, part number 272XDAJX-V3XD or 272XDAJXV3XD, is a 6-bolt hot shift power take-off designed for medium-duty applications including aerial, construction equipment, towing and recovery, and water trucks. The 272 Series supports intermittent torque up to 300 lb-ft and is available with either pneumatic or hydraulic shift, with an integral air control valve included. Output shaft options span round shaft configurations, and the series supports nine speed ratios across eighteen shift options. Direct mount outputs offer an optional Wet-Spline configuration for extended service life, while driveshaft outputs support the Smart-Start option for high-torque engagement.
