The Chelsea 272XDDAX-A3XD is a 272 Series hot shift power take-off assembly featuring a 6-bolt mounting configuration. The 272 Series consolidates several earlier Chelsea medium-duty PTO lines into a single platform capable of up to 300 lb-ft of intermittent torque and continuous-duty operation with proper de-rating. Available shift options across the 272 Series include pneumatic and hydraulic, and output shaft choices include round shaft configurations with 1-inch or 1-1/4-inch diameters. The series supports nine speed ratios and eighteen shift options. Common applications include aerial equipment, construction equipment, water trucks, and towing and recovery vehicles.
