The Chelsea 272 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 272XKAJX-A3RB or 272XKAJXA3RB, is a 6-bolt hot shift PTO built for medium-duty truck applications across aerial, construction, towing and recovery, and water truck markets. It delivers continuous torque up to 300 lb-ft (407 Nm) and intermittent torque in the 201-300 lb-ft (401-500 Nm) range, with shaft power of 29 HP at 500 RPM and 57 HP at 1,000 RPM. The output shaft is a 1-1/4" round shaft with a 5/16" key. Shift is pneumatic or pneumatic/hydraulic PowerShift with an integral air control valve.
