The Chelsea 272 Series consolidates and replaces the earlier 230, 231, 236, 238, 270, and 271 Series medium-duty hot-shift PTOs into a single, updated platform. The series offers nine speed ratios and eighteen shift options. Direct-mount outputs are available with optional Wet-Spline technology for extended PTO and pump shaft service life. Driveshaft output configurations can include the Smart-Start option, which is designed to handle high-torque start-up conditions. Rotatable flanges allow flexible installation positioning.
