The Chelsea 272 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 272XPAJX-A3RK or 272XPAJXA3RK, is a medium-duty 6-bolt hot shift PTO designed for demanding mobile equipment applications. It features a 1-1/4" round output shaft with a 5/16" key and supports both pneumatic and hydraulic PowerShift engagement. Continuous torque capacity reaches 300 lb-ft (407 Nm), with intermittent ratings in the 201-300 lb-ft (401-500 Nm) range. Shaft power output at 1,000 RPM is 57 HP. The 272 Series consolidates the older 230, 231, 236, 238, 270, and 271 Chelsea PTO families into a single, more versatile platform.
